This Privacy Policy explains how ZY App Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the My Magazine mobile application (the "App"). We believe the stories, photos and creations you make belong to you. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010 and international privacy standards.
1. Information We Collect & On-Device Storage
The App is built with a Privacy-First Architecture. We do not operate external user accounts, cloud databases, or remote servers for your magazine content.
Your Magazine Content (Local Storage Only): Everything you create in the App, including magazine titles, covers, page layouts, text, headlines, captions, fonts, colors and templates you choose, is stored on your local device in the App's private storage. This content is never transmitted to, stored on, or backed up to our servers.
Photos and Images You Select: When you add a photo to a magazine, the App accesses only the images you choose through your device's photo picker or gallery. We do not scan, upload or collect any other photos on your device.
App Settings & Preferences: Your local app settings, such as language, theme, default layout options and notification preferences, are saved locally on your device.
Diagnostic & Technical Data: We may automatically process non-personally identifiable technical information (for example, app crash logs, device model and operating system version) strictly to find bugs, improve performance and keep the App stable. This data does not include your magazine content or photos.

2. How We Use Your Information
Because your magazine content stays on your device, it is processed locally only to deliver the App's core features:
- Deliver Core Features: Display templates, arrange pages, place your photos and text, render previews and let you read your finished magazine.
- Export & Share on Your Request: Prepare your magazine as a file or image so you can save it or send it to others, only when you choose to do so.
- App Maintenance: Analyze anonymized crash logs to fix technical problems and improve performance across different devices.
3. Disclosure & Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, trade, lease or broadcast your magazine content, photos or personal information.
Your content stays on your device. We share information only in the following limited situations:
- Content You Choose to Share: If you use the App's share or export feature, your magazine is sent to the app or person you select (for example, a messaging app, email or cloud storage). Once shared, that service's own privacy policy applies, and we do not control it.
- Third-Party Infrastructure Providers: We may use trusted, privacy-compliant diagnostic services (such as Google Play Crashlytics) solely to receive anonymized crash reports and technical performance information.
- Legal Requirements: If required by applicable laws, valid legal processes or enforceable governmental requests. Because we do not store your magazines on remote servers, we hold no user content to provide.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, anonymized app stability metrics may be transferred as part of normal business operations.
4. Device Permissions
The App may ask for the following permissions. Each is used only for the purpose described:
- Photos / Media: To let you pick images for your magazine.
- Camera (if enabled): To let you take a photo and add it to a page.
- Storage / Files: To save or export a finished magazine to your device.
- Notifications (if enabled): To send reminders you have chosen to receive.
You can grant, change or withdraw these permissions at any time in your device settings (Settings > Apps > My Magazine > Permissions). The App's core features that do not need a permission will continue to work if you decline it.
5. Third-Party Links & Content
The App may provide templates, fonts, tips or other creative resources. These may be delivered through secure content delivery networks (CDNs). Viewing this content does not link your activity to your real-world identity.

6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because your magazine content stays on your device, we hold no personal information about any user. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Your Privacy Rights & Full Control
Under applicable privacy laws, including the Malaysian PDPA, you keep ownership and control of your content:
- Edit & Delete Your Magazines: You can edit or delete any magazine, page or photo at any time inside the App. Deleting a magazine removes it from the App's storage on your device.
- Clear App Data: You can erase all content and settings by clearing the App's storage (Settings > Apps > My Magazine > Storage > Clear Storage).
- Uninstalling the App: Deleting or uninstalling the App permanently and irreversibly removes all magazines, photos stored in the App and settings saved on your device. Exported files and shared copies that you saved elsewhere are not affected, so please back up anything you want to keep.
- Permission Management: You can grant, modify or revoke permissions at any time via your device settings.
8. Security Measures
We use reasonable technical practices to protect your privacy:
- On-Device Storage: Your magazines and photos are kept in the App's private storage and are not sent to our servers.
- Minimal Permissions: We request only the permissions the App needs to work.
- Device Security: Your content is also protected by your device's own security features, such as screen lock and biometric authentication. We recommend keeping these turned on.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy occasionally to stay informed.
